Siege onagers and Black Forest?
In the old AoE2, I was able to cut through the trees in a black forest map. I've been researching and trying, for a couple of hours, to tear down trees; but no success. Every time I command Siege Onagers to attack the trees, they fire but the trees stay standing . Is this feature disabled with the new AoE2 HD Edition from Steam? I'd really like to know. Any help is greatly appreciated!

A few of you have replied to my question which I appreciate, but have you guys tested demolishing trees lately in the black forest?

Don't you have to upgrade them max out before you can tell them to demolish trees?

No you don't, just the siege onager upgrade is enough.

Are you entirely sure that you were using the siege onagers, and not the un-upgraded onagers?

That should still work, you can use Siege Onagers in the standard game and Onagers in The Forgotten to cut through forests. Normal mangonels do nothing against trees, you also require no further upgrades :)

-Do you have your game set to recording? If so, you will have to use attack ground manually to cut the trees. Granted, that doesn't really sound like your problem. So, maybe you should make a recording for us. =]

I tested it starting the game in the post imperial age in which age all technologies are researched, and still does not work.
