How do you place multiple buildings at once...
without having to go through the build menu again? For example, I've seen videos of people placing multiple farms without going through the build menu. So that once one farm is placed, the next one is automatically available for placement.

Ahh thanks! Been always wondering this since I first started playing AOE II. Always learning new things about it to this day.

There's one important thing to keep in mind with this functionality: villagers will only automatically start constructing the next building if it's relatively close to them (within their LOS, I believe). This means that if you queue up a barracks in each corner of the map, your villager will only build the last one you put down, and won't walk across the map to the next one as it's too far away.

The control key works to.
Yep, CTRL or Shift. If you didn't know, you can build units/villagers 5 at a time with Ctrl or Shift. So you would click (or use a hotkey) 3 times instead of 15.
