Interesting things you didn't know
Why not get one of these threads going? What are some things about the game yo know that aren't wildly known or discussed?
The splash damage from Siege Rams can actually hurt enemy units for far more damage than the 4 attack of the ram. I was able to instantly kill enemy villagers with a siege ram when they tried to garrison.

Another: Warwolf gives Trebuchets 100% accuracy, making British Trebuchets the second best in the game behind Japanese.

Okay, sounds cool! I'll make an addition:

-Camels and ships share the same unit class, so towers and castles (and fire/demo ships, mangonels, scorps, etc) are particularly potent against camels, especially when Heated Shot is researched.

-ES originally made the Saracen UU a Dervish- a scimitar-throwing infantry unit much like the Frank throwing axeman, but switched to Mameluke at the last minute. In AoK and AoC, Mamelukes were still classed as infantry units, meaning that anti-infantry units (especially Cataphracts, scorps and archers) did ridiculous amounts of bonus damage to them!
This isn't really news for experienced players, but here are some for newbies:

- Meat from sheep, turkeys, cows (?) and hunted animals decays over time. Gather quickly. If you kill an animal with a military unit, you will not be able to collect the meat at all.
- There is a major attack and defense bonus when fighting on uneven terrain. Units on high ground will have a big advantage over units fighting uphill.
- In a game with computer players, the computer players will attack the player with the highest score first.
- Farms built on the right side of a town center will be farmed slightly faster than farms on the left side, just because the farmer will only use one corner of the farm.
- You can garrison units into one side of a tower and use the gather point to make them exit on the other side of a tower. Sometimes this can allow them to pass through wall corners.
- Switching a group's attack formation (close, spread, split) can give them a very small run speed bonus as they adjust formation on the move.
- If you garrison archers in defensive buildings, they will shoot additional arrows.
- Scout cavalry gain a +2 attack bonus once you reach Feudal Age. They're nice for taking out wolves and jaguars.
- Hunting food is gathered faster than picking berries and farming. Farming is a little faster than fishing.

- Mayan Villagers are set slower when gathering ressources. Since they get 1.2 for every 1 ressource, they are set at a speed of 0.83 which leaves them exactly at the same speed overall when mining or chopping, however due to the nature of farming (more walking than anything else) they are ever so slightly slower when farming compared to other CIVs

Does that mean that pikemen don't get a bonus against camels?

No it means pikeman are strong against ships :P

Something I remembered which a lot of people don't know. Market costs are global. If someone sells a lot of food or wood to get some gold, the prices will change for everybody. So be quick if you want to use it!

I discover that years ago when i was a children, haha when you play a custom scenario and play as Schah (From Dschingis Khan scenario) and attak something it change the skin to the nuke trooper (with a crown in the top) from the aoe 1 cheat :)

When you play as gaia (natural wonders cheat) and choose the deer to attak something it shows the unit Gazelle from aoe 1 while attak.

Cataphracts and condottieri have a defense against attack bonuses. Any units that has a bonus against them sees it reduced by 12 (cataphract), 16 (elite cataphract) or 10 (condottiero), to a minimum of no bonus. Don't try to fight cataphracts with camels.

Been playing this since I was like 10 (11 years), didn't even know this.

This would explain why I am the only one targetted when I play with 2 other friends.
I would be crushed, while my friends' bases would slowly develop. They would only be inadvertently attacked if I used them as a sanctuary :P
