Font of AoE

No questions why I need it, I just want to know what the fonts are of the game

You can find them under Steam/steamapps/common/Age2HD/resources/_common/fonts. Just go there and find out yourself.

As for the actual logo fonts, much of it is old Castellar variant. Your best bet is to look for fonts made before 1999. This means diving into Corel software as some fonts were from there. (The whole Apple vs Microsoft vs Corel vs Xerox)

I actually don't have the steam version, however I have the old conqueders thingy, but I had to go before I could end writing my topic xd

I believe when he said fonts like MS Office 97 he meant the standard fonts that came with Microsoft Office for that year 1997 etc. Much like Microsoft Office 2015 will come with standard fonts too.

The CD version should have a fonts folder as well. Probably it is just a different location. Search for the ending ".ttf". Then you can take the files there.

The left looks like a book gothic type (Georgia), the right looks like an internal sans-serif narrow font, there's a heavy lip on the bottom of the 'k' character which sans-serif's dont usual have. It may be just Tahoma (windows XP default) or Verdana but coded in a way that it's scrunched.

Mind = blown. I can't thank you more, I was almost trying to make costom fonts or copy paste it and make words by hand.

1 more question, if I use notepad then extra colours appear, can I disable them to get them exactly like AoE 2 ?
