Genghis Khan campaign - The horde rides west
So I have been stuck on this chapter for 4 hours now, and it seems like the AI can spawn new units faster than lightning. It's the main enemy thats is causing me trouble since they just keep sending wave after wave through the gates with elite war elephants and what not and it never ends. Is this supposed to happen, and if so how come they can build so fast and it almost seems like they have unlimited resources?

In any case its gonna take a looong time until I finish this one, hardest map I have played so far and I thought the one with the wonder was hard as it is. The 75 population doesnt aid me in my cause either :)

Concentrate on developing your army in the upper camp.

In the bottom camp, all you'll need is a castle and a few monks to convert the elephants.

Yeah I have my main army developed in the upper camp after finishing off the russians. So I attack from the north side. The thing is that I have no clue how I shall push trough the gates since I cant move my trebuchetes inside the base because enemies keep pushing out of the gates all the time. I think I have killed 200 elephants soon, and they just keep coming. Not a chance to even enter the city.

I usually just create 35-40 fully upgraded elite mangudai + 4 trebuchets. Since they much faster than the war elephants, they can easily take them down. The enemy paladins also have no chance against them. Under the protection of the mangudai army, the trebs slowly destroy the enemy base.

Exactly. Except I also end up owning 20+ elephants. No need to kill them.

Ye I use them, but I failed at the start of the assault. I built 2 castles at the gates now and killed off many of the enemies before charging in with my Mangudais and trebs and now I finished it finally :D
