host can not more go spectator ?

Yes, I created a game for two friends play 1x1. But not more there the option to the host go spectator...this happened after new patch...fix please

Hi! I've noticed this as well! It's been working before with update 3.9, then after that it didn' work with update 4.2 and then with 4.3 it worked and now with 4.4 even after 2 hotfixes it still doesn't work. I don't understand. I actually started my game some hour ago to check with this 2nd hotfix to update 4.4 and then I could be Spectator as Host, then I quitted my lobby, started to join other lobbies (where this is also possible, as you can always be spectator when you join someone if they allowed spectators when creating this). Anyways, after this I went back to creating my own lobby again and now, the Spectator option no longer shows up. I've verified game cache, tried to launch the game with and without selecting ranked/allow spectators. No difference, I really don't understand this.

I think there are some issues with the game, because I don't own the African Expansion DLC, but I joined a lobby and could select all the new civs from that DLC which I'm normally not able to. Very strange!

I hope they'll fix this, it's such a small but dealbreaking and important, to many, feature, to be able to select Spectator as Host. Along with all the other things that needs to be improved as well! I hope they're aware of this issue though, because as I mentioned earlier in this comment, it has worked before in patch 3.9 and then it wasn't possible anymore with 4.2, then with 4.3 it was possible, and now again with 4.4 + after 2 hotfixes doesn't work. :/

Yes , this is very annoying, I created a game to see two friends to play and had no choice to go spectator. If with the same color, coorperação mode appears another civilization on the map ... senseless ...
