English Campaign

I would love to see an 5 part English Campaign!

The game was made by Americans. Therefore, the English can only be the bad guys :p

Hahaha I always had the same question since 1999, when I started playing AoK. Why not an English campaign? I hope they will add one in a future DLC. We also miss a Persian, a Chinese and a Japanese campaign. :)

I have a feeling (lol) that the next DLC will be for East and Southeast Asia though. "Asian Kingdoms" maybe. In this one we might get a Chinese and a Japanese campaign together with other 2 campaigns for the new civs.

Pure speculation! :P

The english campaign could center around King Richard The Lionheart's campaign to the middle east and his captures on the way back to England.

The english campaign could center around King Richard The Lionheart's campaign to the middle east and his captures on the way back to England.

Richard the Lionhearted is an AWESOME idea. It is a shame they haven't already make a campaign for him. His life and battles from England/Europe to the Middle East and the crusades can inspire an amazing 6-scenaros campaign.

Why not working on the 2 "projects" together at the same period? I mean they can fix the bugs and at the meantime start creating content for the next DLC.

I mostly playing multiplayer, and the bugs are annoying for me too. But adding new official campaigns is something that excite me as well

Many people appreciate the new content very much. I remember myself back in 2001 when I finished both conquerors and AoK campaigns, my "gaming dream" was to play more official campaign packs. And yes, in 2013 and 2015 our "dream" came true.

There are thousands of custom campaigns made for the game. I am certain there are several covering Richard the Lionheart.

I think added with the English Campaign, and bug fixes there should be a way to build bridges wooden from Dark to Feudal, stone from Castle to Imperial.

I have also played Robin Hood and The Arthurian Legend, they both do not have a intro and exit videos in each part.

Yes. That is a bug. Please post to the Support forums to get SkyBox's attention that all single player custom campaigns are broken.

Me too. I have experienced this issue several times with custom scenarios. No intros and no postgame slides. They still haven't fix it.

"The Arthurian Legend" is one of the best custom campaigns I have ever played. I also like "Macbeth" (Celts), a real piece of art, but this campaign isn't in the steam workshop. I hope someone will add it if the author agrees.

Not many Engish monarch's spoke english after the Norman Conquest. also, I have ideas for the campaign, 1. the rebellion of 1173. 2. 1180 the rebelion of Aquitaine. 3. The invasion of Cyprus. 4. The Caputure of Acre. 5. Legend of Blondel. 6. The siege of Chalus-Chabrol.
