All of the above is included in the definitive edition for free with several new civ based DLCs.
So the choice is yours in what one to purchase.
But if you want a more complete version of the game in its present state than just that, and given the fact the DLCs eventually became a bit of a mess unless you really got into them (other than being about certain parts of the world & stuff, IMO) I’d go with The Forgotten DLC. It was what originally gave the devs the idea to make more exp. packs:

(I’m just saying the following expansion is probably closest to the original game ones and they nailed it pretty well… I wouldn’t say it’s perfect.)
My guess is once you play the game from that point though, you’re going to enjoy the Definitive edition a fair bit more… As long as you’ve still got it! That’s likely because the AI has been significantly revamped, so beating it can be hard especially when you do set it to that. For now, all you have to do is practice more and get your skills up.
