You guys had any thoughts towards allowing each AI player to have its own unique difficulty instead of the old school global AI difficulty option? It'd allow for even better difficulty selection than current as it's a bit limited when you're playing with people of various skill levels.
I believe all games should have a casual setting - if I wanted stress, I'd do overtime - I am far more likely to buy a sequel to a game I actually finished (Borderlands, Far Cry, hmmm can't think of any Strategy games though, although I did have AoE many years ago, and I bought the HD version cos I remember having great fun building huge armies and rampaging about the map, so I am counting it)
Also I agree with minWanabe - differing levels of AI for the AI would be excellent, and allow more tweaking.
At least they left the old AI in.
