How do I know what the different sound file triggers sound like?
Hey guys I'm making a scenario so I'm probably going to have multiple questions over the course of the next couple weeks. I want to insert a sound trigger that goes off when a unit walks into a certain area. The trigger is easy to make happen, but I don't know how to hear what each sound file sounds like without having to test the scenario like 100000 times with each one individually in order to find one that I like. Is there any way to know what they sound like without testing the scenario? The files all have number labels in the scenario editor.

Don't think you can mate, best thing you can do is find the mp3 audio files in the game directory and play them using media player from there to see what they're saying. I think they're named based on what campaign they're used in, for example Saladin #1 has the number 1 and an S in it!

What I'd suggest: Pick one of the sound files "81200.mp3" or whatever. Search for it on your computer. Go to the file location and then listen to the files in the directory in whatever way you'd like.

They are all in your common steam ap aoe II sound file with most under campaign. It easy to create a check list from those files. They are organized as unluckyforsome has described.
