Achievement not unlocking

I'm have trouble achieving:


Humanity Victorious
Congratulations! You have defeated a single CPU opponent (at moderate difficulty or higher).

Two Challenging
Congratulations! You have singly defeated two CPU opponents (at moderate difficulty or higher).

Four Scored
Congratulations! You have singly defeated four CPU opponents (at moderate difficulty or higher).

Five Golden Victories
Congratulations! You have singly defeated five CPU opponents (at moderate difficulty or higher).

Superior Six
Congratulations! You have singly defeated six CPU opponents (at moderate difficulty or higher). Not many can claim this level of skill.





Past 2 days i been doing a lot of standard games against moderate level CPU.. first time with just one CPU, then against 2, then 3.. but i never got either one of these achievements.. anyone know if there is something particular I must do ?

You are not using cheats right? You are also using normal Random Map game modes yes?

Cheats no.. but normal random map mode i did first time.. then second time i chose sudden death..

weird, i got them, maybe its bugged in this current update, did them right after african kingdoms was released (bought it there for the new expansion, previously i played the old forgotten empires mod version)

hmm, i do not see anything weird there, maybe go one difficulty up just to be sure, maybe its bugged there dont know i play on hard most of the time...

Maybe try not having any teams? That's the only thing I can think of.

lol moderate is good enough for me.. anything higher will require an additional 1 hour.
But ill check out the teams though

The Ai's must be teamed against you.

For example:

You: T1

AI: T2
AI: T2
AI: T2
AI: T2 (etc)

lol so 1 vs 4?

but i managed to get the first achievement.. i had to keep all teams " - " so everyone neutral but i still had lock teams enabled.

Map had to be random of course.. but i did "fortress" map and i still got achivement.
2nd try against 3 opponents I had Real map.. achievement didn't work so it must be one of the standard type maps only.

yes, 1vX to unlock these achievements. The first one still counts as a 1v1 so you will unlock the first one, 2nd one must have been a 1v2 or something

Yea ill give it a try.. 2 more attempts failed.. so i guess it has to be 1 vs 6

best way to go i think is with fortress map.. at least i'd have some hope xD

Update: Just got the "Five Golden Victories" by playing on Arena map.. with 1 ally player. Vs. 4 others (Me & Ally VS Enemy & Enemy VS Enemy & Enemy). So I had Team 1, Vs Team 2, Vs Team 3.

Next will do the same but one additional so I can get the six victory achievement =)

I got all these achievements while playing the campaign ...

Hmmm i finished many campaigns (not all).. seems it is bugged for some occasions while on other occasions the achievement unlocks.
However now i managed to get them.. just got my Superior Six!

All i'm doing as i said. team up with 1 AI and VS 2 or 3 other teams
