Joan of Arc Mission 4: The Rising
Okay I've heard people say that they haven't had problems. Well I am having problems because orange keeps coming out of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nowhere with their stupid pikemen and yellow's faggy cavailers.

Can anyone tell me how to annihilate their asses back to the stone ages? This mission is SO frustrating!

If you're having trouble, perhaps try walling up. I forget which color it is, but the town on the far east of the map will send villagers early and build production buildings near your town. Walling up prevents them from streaming units into your base. Next I would build outposts along the shore as one of the towns likes to use transports if you walled up. Just have a group of knights ready and clean them up. You could also try using demo ships to blow up large groups of enemies that try to cross the shallows. It's useful against Longbowmen or Mangonels as they are tough to kill.

Yeah until Rheims sends in their freakin' trebuchets and chews up my walls.

I tell you, this mission is like the movie The War of the Worlds (A 1950s movie) where the army can't kill the martians with even the best weapons available.

Trebs take awhile to punch through walls because they are quite inaccurate. Try using demo ships to blow up the trebs on the shallows.

Wall up the far right, build a castle on the left, and rush this scenario. They auto-resign if you destroy their TC so letting them build up a ton of units just makes it harder.

Then, it shouldn't be a problem. That campaign/mission is one of the easiests. The rest of them are just harder and harder.
You only need to destroy all 3 town centers. If you destroy the town center, the enemy will surrender immediately, no matter how many units he have. Just use petards with a small army to cover them.

Go Knight + Crossbow + Ram and rush Chalons and Troyes. Taking out the TCs (and the Troyes Castle, I believe) makes them resign as Cuchulainn said. Once those two are gone, go Knight-Elite Skirmisher-Pikeman to fight Rheims. I forget if you're restricted to the Castle Age or not, but if you can go Imperial, then upgrade to Paladins and Halberdiers, and use Hand Cannoneers instead of Crossbowmen once in Imperial Age. Getting the upgrades and using the right counters is key. Add Trebs as well if you can go Imperial, though this one is perfectly winnable before you even go Imperial.
