- The wiki(s)
- Chris'[www.amazon.com] and André's[www.amazon.com] books (for sale).
- Jineapple's sheet and Pip's site[aoe2stats.net] <- sources of AoF and AK material.
- Several websites, including this one[www.cysion.be] and this one[www.forgottenempires.net], and many more (usually AoC oriented).
- Youtube videos, although with the exception of Spirit of the Law's most aim towards pure strategy.
- ZeroEmpire's fast castle tutorial here deserves to be mentioned as well, pros should make more of these.
This being said, what's still missing is a basic introduction to the system, the interface, the lobby... no wonder people still ask around about the shift button.
AND A MANUAL MUST BE A STANDARD FOR EVERY GAME/ADDON !!!!!
But blind fanboys are too silly to understand this. So poor to beg for a manual in every game. But that is the new trend for the lazy devs.
In very complex games like Hearts of Iron 4 you will not find any kind of manual. And only to searcg for some youtube tutorial or wiki is very idiotic. It must be the work from the devs to explain ALL gamemechanics. It is not the players duty to search for wki/tutorial because devs are to lazy/arrogant to release a manual that must be standard ( like in games many years ago).
But i hate all the stupid blind ganboys they say to all it is great and defense every mess like the devs.
Only 1 example for the brainless fanboys: Me and many other say the intgeface and minimap is much to small.
Blind fanboys :"It is bif enough ,you eyes are too bad,buy better glasses" ect ect.
They have to all mess an answer. Fact is the interface is much to small and to lower the desktop reslulution is no option because i will use my supported TFT-resoliution for a sharp screen .
Or we must become (like many other games ....remastered games too) an option to customizable the interface. But to play with such mini interface/minimap/letters makes no fun.In a strategic game it is very important to see all well. That was a very big gamebreaker for me and i deinstall the game...will not become hurting eyes.
And the word "HD-edition" is the biggest joke ever for a game.
also the ui is big enough, maybe not in 4k but thats not the standard right now so i dont see any problem with it
also they keep being sharp if set to 1080p too
I'm sorry, but that's ridiculous. Yes, the game should come with a resolution picker and it's a shame that it doesn't but the UI does look fine on lower resolutions.
I see you are flaming other people in a different Forum "blind fanboys".
Have fun dude, hopfeully you won't get banned anytime soon there :D
Best regards
