Keyboard Input Issue
Hey there guys!

I came something across that seems pretty annoying to me:

When i play AOE2 on Voobly or just on my original copy, it does the following:

I want to build a house, so press "a" for build and "e" for house. It kinda works, but if i do it "too fast", the house (and other buildings) wont be built...

On HD, its kinda more precise no matter how fast the hotkeys are hit.

Is this normal, somebody else experienced that or does anybody know if there's a fix!?

It's normal for UP, HD improved keyboard input (somehow)

Yes, on HD hotkeys register as you tap them, on the original they register on release which is why they can by "sluggish". It's mostly just a matter of getting used to it though.

Ah ok. It would be nice if there was a fix. Cause im playing on voobly and HD, but when i switch, neither seems home...

I have helped other players with this same exact issue. Here are the potential fixes for both Voobly and steam:

...Installed "userpatch": Game not working. Asking steam do do analysis: corrupted files detected.

Got it workin again - tried usb port switch: no difference to the keyboard issue

no. none of my 2 PCs usb ports are faulty XD
it just doesnt work. cause on HD, u press hotkey for "build" and it leads u instantly to the builings menue. Whereas on the normal version, it just enters this menue when u release the key...

Extract this tool to your desktop and then Right click it and RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR: {LINK REMOVED}

Please Untick both, and click apply OK, and then try again see if it helps.
