What are some good hotkeys for a beginner?

I find the default harder to use so I'm trying to set them up around wasd, space and cv.
Do you have any tips or ideas on what you use?

I only ever use the comma and stop keys to find idle villagers and poll through military units.

My Hotkeys:
idle villager: Tab.
Open eco build menu: Q.
Open military build menu: A.
build house: W.
build farm: Q.
go to town center: H.
create villager: Q

Once you get used to those you can start using hotkeys to build and go to military and resource buildings. and hotkeys to create diffrent units, for exp:

build Mining camp: E, go to Mining camp Ctrl+E.
build Lumber R, go to Lumber Ctrl+R
build Mill: T. go to Mill: Ctrl+T
Go to Blacksmith : Ctrl+L
build stable: S. go to stable: S. (to go to the stable, you press S when you have no villagers selected).
build / go to barracks : A
build / go to range: D
build / go to siege workshop : X
build / go to Castle : C
build / go to Dock: F
Line Formation: Z
Flank Formation: V

you should set Idle villagers on a hotkey that is easy to reach because your economy macro will improve a lot. I set it as TAB like the guy above me.

CTRL 1-0 for group number is very important don't forget it.
Holding shift on a production building will que 5 units to start building or 5 farms in the mill. You can also hold shift to place multiple buildings.
ITs these two hotkeys that really quicken your APM (actions per minute).
I find that changing hotkeys in your options to make more sense to you and your finger to key ratio a good idea. For example F for farms and e for houses.

Learning the formation hotkeys is prudent and the hotkey for unit stop (very very useful).
