What AI triggers I need to use for map editor to force all enemy units attack me?
Hello. I wanted to test few things in map editor however when I put my units and CPU units most of them are just going to scout instead of fighting. What do I need to do in triggers to force all units of CPU player to attack me? I can't see any descriptions of how the triggers works. Just the number like AI Trigger 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 etc. Thanks for help in advice.

Not an expert in AI triggers, but doesn't sending 230+player number to AI in chat supposed to make them attack that player for 10 minutes? If that works then that's one way, and you can use it as a recurring chat trigger, but I'm sure there are better ways.

Just tried the chat but it doesn't seem to work. Well if there are any chat commands for this they would be nice too. I don't really need it in triggers. I just want to force all enemy units to attack me.

Well sometimes scenario AIs occasionally attack me like in Random Maps normally (Also you can set the AI to behave as it would in a map type). At least it's not like StarCraft AIs where they do nothing at all unless you absolutely are good at AI triggers.

Yeah I remember in StarCraft 1 map editor there was a trigger to put all enemy units into a "random suicide mission", lol - but that was great. In original AoE2 I could remember enemy on the map editor without any triggers just sended one unit for scout and rest of them was attacking the closest target. However in the HD version of editor he does put alot of them into scouting not just one. I'm trying to check the small battle result without any micro but half of the enemy units are just going away.

Yeah i see, you don't really want them to do any scouting or BSing but just let them all attack. Because they should really do what you want and not act like it's a RM. I know there are "attack" and "move unit" triggers. But they have to have a specific spot to go to do that.

And there's an original AI option too
You would need to make an per. file that has this function. I believe there is a function like that, problem is the condition.

i.e You need to script the ai, not the editor. Task object if it covers the entire map could work, but i believe it will lag or crash your game.

you need to script an ai yourself.

its hard at first just look up the guides on how to do it youll get the hang, simple ai like pre building the city and income it has to simply make it collect, build units then attack is actually quite easy to set up gl :)!

scripting ai for online \ multiplayer competitive play is the hard part because you need to balance it
