AIs did not attack me in "Defend the Wonder" mode
Just tried "Defend the Wonder" simply to see what kind of strategies AI would use.
3 AIs, coastal, 4 player map, moderate difficulty, standard resources, 200 population, no treaty.
I started with Wonder and decided to do nothing the entire game just to see what AIs would do. I used "marco polo" to see everything happening on the map and put speed to fastest (x8) in order to get through this as fast as possible.

And what did the AIs do? All 3 AIs had their fun beating each other up, while doing absolutely NOTHING towards me, although I had Wonder and clock was ticking.
This lasted to my extreme surprisement till the end, when I was declared victorious!

We'll, this was easy. I was expecting some kind of hidden "Won the game while doing nothing" achievement to pop up, but then I remembered, that duh, I used "marco polo". Gotta try this again sometimes to get another quick (but this time legit!) victory while sitting relaxed behind my PC watching my Wonder and maybe finally understanding, that AIs just couldn't raise their hands against this beauty.

The AI is agressive to whoever has the most score. In terms of the OBJ based game modes they really fall flat, defend the wonder they simply play as normal not seeking out the player unless provoked by attking their workers or accending in score while King of the hill is the same but their scouts can still take the monument from you. Wonder race is nice with the AI since they already normally make wonders but they are just slow taking about 15 to 20 minutes to make an economy to sustaine a wonder. all other game modes the AI will only confront the player if it needs resources if a player cannot keep up in score, it will simply create whatever units that counter the top player/superunits(from castles)/Seige weps/Monks/etc and gather them in a circle around some building in their town untill they move in red light green light style movment stuttering to their temperoary rally. Cranking up their difficulty only makes them develop faster (creating buildings, getting upgrades, aging, even going after the boar as a player would).

Hope this helps aside from my spelling.

Thanks for explaining behaviors of AI! It seems that you have a lot of experience about them. I don't understand, why doesn't the AI prioritize attacking player with Wonder though. This makes it too easy to win. Is it impossible to script AI so that it identifies player with Wonder and attacks it in order to prevent him from winning? Seems logical thing to do regardless of game mode.

"Defend the Wonder" should right now be played so that every other player is teamed against Wonder holder, so they all attack him. And it would be different from normal "one player against everybody else" game only by that defending player has a timer to last until winning.
