What are the most fun ways to play this game
So i just bought this gem (including all dlc's) and played a bit of multiplayer and singleplayer on standard difficulty, always randomnized and it's pretty fun. But i also wonder what else there is that makes the game more enjoyable..im pretty busy at the moment and that's why im straight up asking what are the most fun bits instead of trying things out.

Thanks in advance :)

Bot stomps with friends and getting better at the game. Did you try to Wololo yet? The monks in the monastery can convert almost anything to your side. This is one of the main reasons I love Aztecs with their tanky FU monks. An example of some monk madness https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o41VNoLftqM (Go at minute 17:49 to see monk action)

Comp Stomps with friends can be pretty fun too :)

If you like Gimmicks then here are a bunch to keep a variety through your playthrough:
- Aztecs dark age 8 militia rush (+50 extra gold and no loom)
- Khmer 8 min Feudal rush (No buildings requirement making the food the sole restriction, lure 2 boars then go to Feudal)
- Spanish Supremacy villagers (Imperial unique tech that makes your vills roughly as strong as a longsword)
- Mayan Archery Range with Obsidian arrows (castle age unique tech that allows archery range archer-line to kill buildings)
- Persian douche (Delete your own TC then rebuild at your enemy tc, Persian TC due to double hp town center)
- Basicly every non-Arambai/Conquistador/Plumed archers castle rush. I personally recommend to try with balista elephants or Elephant archers

Co-op, if 2 players have the same colors then those 2 players will control 1 base. Try this with 4 people per player for maximum chaos.

While i personally like diplomacy (a scenario where the diplomatic screen is unlocked), some salt can occur and it's definitly possible that it will stretch out for hours.

And ofcourse there are plenty of workshop scenarios, many of the top rated scenarios have some serious effort put into them both single and multiplayer.
