Hi all,

6 Sheep
4 wood (with lumber camp)
1 lure boar
loom
Make 2 houses with a villager from wood
3 to berries
1 to lure 2nd boar back to TC
1 to berries
1 to get 10 gold then move to wood
1 to build barracks and 2 houses then wood
2 wood
MAKE MILITIA
2 berries
Move 4 from boar to mill deer
6 to straggler trees (move to farms when you
have 60 wood)

CLICK UP TO FEUDAL

move 4 vills from sheep to gold (plus 1 from
wood if needed)

When feudal arrives send 3 vills to make
blacksmith and archery range

2 to gold

CLICK UP TO CASTLE

How will that help me win? What civ is good for that strategy?

Japanese, Viking’s, Ethiopians, mailians, Britons, Chinese, Burmese etc. most infantry and archer civs. Generally the militia are there to slow down your opponent and cause a distraction whilst you get to castle age quickly.

It’s quite a tricky one to do though. If you’re fairly new to the game, see my fast castle with out the drush tutorial vid. That’s the best one to start with and then move on to archer and/or scout rushes. There’s also a tower rush tutorial on my channel

how much is this viable nowadays? that was like only strategy I knew when I was 1700-1800. I havent played arabia since then and I am 1900+ on Arena now and considering improving my Arabia again

Haha nhika I love your enthusiasm. It’s inspired by pro player tatoh’s guide so is still used by pros and still viable. All my guides are generally aimed at those under 1700 Elo to help players improve and learn different strategies before adapting the builds themselves and adapting to the game they are playing at the time.

As viable as an advanced opponent can think in skirmishers who more than likely will out age you as you will have dropped a lot of gold down the drain for this strategy.

Pretty much it’s a strong opening for players learning the meta much like many of these rush strategies. There is a point though where players know the meta too well, the power of a rush causing crippling damage slides off and the risk factors and law of exchange becomes very weighty were being able to think on your feet for the rest of castle, imperial, and quite possibly the trash age is important.
Archer rush and knight rush are debated as two strong opening rush metas and ones advanced players are banking on the most. Why scout games important too.
A lot of players on arabia are grabbing for cav because the wood vice (albeit that leads to pike with weakness to bow), perhaps some nation specifics and resource market work more in 1v1 arabia. I feel though that it leaves you way to open for more than 1vs1 due to that gold sink.
Why scouting for military before build order is essential.
There are some advanced nation based arabia disucssions floating about. All that stupid wood saved by Malian (plus free gold mining) and Huns makes them strong contenders. Other players will have more to say of course.
