Is this game dead from AOE: Definitive Edition release?

This game looks really dead as there are less than 10k players. So did the new AOE:1 HD edition kill it or what? I just found out about its release and it would be hilarious if that's what killed this game because it got released on the windows store xD.

The average number of players on at any one time over the past 30 days is 8k. The peak number of players over the past 30 days was 16K. That is down a little on January and February, but above the average for most of last year. So AoE2 is as popular now as it has always been.

this, its rather that they killed AOEDE by only selling it on the windows store, this game is alive and well, as is playing aoe2(hd or nonhd) on voobly ;)

the game dead is AOE DE, only few guys are playing now, 500 or less, 10k players on AOE 2 HD is a good alive game RTS. I hope that AOE 2 DEFINITIVE EDITION release soon
