Building bridges
How do you build bridges or roads?

This is only possible with Data set mods like the following one:

There is no data set mod to build bridges (yet).

But what about the bridges in the campaign or screenshots?

Ah i see, i thought you can actually build them in the standard game.
The engine doesn't support (usable) buildable bridges outside of the scenerio editor unfortunately.

It actually does. It's just not implemented in the base game, you'd have to create your own .dat edit for it.

It actually does. It's just not implemented in the base game, you'd have to create your own .dat edit for it.

You can have buildable "bridges", however it's not possible to change terrain restrictions during a game, so that units can cross a river they couldn't cross before. It would be purely graphical, not functional.
