Siege Tower not unloading units over wall

Hi there I recently tried to use the siege tower to get across an enemy wall (a single layer) but it keeps saying "not enough room for units to unload even though there is nothing on the other side of the wall which runs horizontally through the map.

I tried to unload 3 units over the wall but this is not possible even though I'm in the post-imperial age. I looked it up on YouTube and people demonstrate how but mine cannot.

If anyone has an insight to this it would be much appreciated.

It's a common bug as the siege tower is pretty buggy on it's own to unload units over a wall.
Requires multiple clicks to make it work.

the wall needs to be closed, a hole in the wall somewhere, not possible to unload afaik.

Thanks guys for response, all are correct I believe but ultimately due to its buggieness it is impractical in the game. However it is an awesome feature if it could work.

they should revert the old siege tower with attack

yeah why bother making a siege tower when 2-3 petards can blow open a hole in the wall anyway
