rise of rajas campaign opinions?
ive played the first and second so far.

i enjoyed both, but the first being better in my opinion. i think the second is too easy. was playing standard but still. pretty cool so far though.

The 4th is the best

I'm playing on Hard. So far all camapigns are enjoyable and challenging. I will agree with aragorn-elessar97 that the first is my favourite, but I like very much the first as well! I also like the nice little surprise with the Vietnamese campaign having 6 scenarios instead of 5!!!

I play all campaign at hard, and win it at last.

I was surprised: often griefing game with brutal Ai. but sometimes does have the AI to less ressources (vietcong4 or so. sometimes Iose 2, 3 times before win, sometimes AI does nothing...

But the last Burma Scenario was so fine that all bad things are forgotten!

My fav campaigns are from AOK/AOC

You liked the last Burmese misson? I absolutely hated it. Didn't like 4/5 missions of the Burmese campaign anyway. But I guess some people like other missions.

Malay - Puts you into a lot of novelty situations which if not good is atleast very refreshing , i especially liked mission 3 where you had to set up colonies , it realy felt like you were expanding outside the story. I hate mission 2 just because 1 time my king got sniped by the bombards at the end and didn't save at all.

Khmer - I despise some of the mission purely because raiding your opponnent did nothing but i guess they had to make it hard somehow. I did like the escort mission where you could actually choose and combine your starting troops and the last mission felt pretty appropiatly epic for a last mission although imo it felt lame that cannon galleons were disabled

Burmese - I actually enjoyed this series of campaigns except for the timed mission. The sheer variety to approach of each scenario was pretty impreessive and exploring the map actually felt worthwhile due to numerous usefull Gaia units. The final mission was ok , it's just that DEAR FATHER GOT SNIPED AND I LOST

Vietnamese - Well.... i can say it's the hardest for sure and definitly felt like i was beneath the foot of the Ming Chinese within the first few mission but i just really despise infinite troops spawning which also happens in other scenarios of Rajas but this campaign is the worst violator imo. Also final mission not having Imperial Skirmisher upgade?!? Give me a break! The infinite spawning is the most obnoxious there!

All of these were played on hard difficulty

Yeah that Burmese last mission ♥♥♥♥♥♥ me over twice because of the same reason. I at least managed to destroy one of the three Yellows and the Portuguese early on with your eastern army (it was strong enough and you had siege so I was like whatever). A mistake I made was after you went to all the tempels and you start the Deathmatch-esque phase of the mission, I tried to win by building a large navy, however this was a big mistake I later realised because they start with 14 (!) docks while you only have 5 + you don't have heavy demos/fast fire ship so it's really hard to win on water. I had no wood and gold left, I had no market so I barely won by destroying their last castle with 1 surviving trebuchet. I should probably just have focused on building a large army, especially because I already destroyed like half of the map with the starting forces.

Same quality for AoAK, nothing too wild or crazy about them. Difficulty tolerance and spreading of pressure is only the changing integer.
