AOE2HD are the new karambit warriors too overpowered?!

i just played the new malay civ for the first time, I made a 2v2 match which turned into a free for all because for some reason the new update doesnt put you on a team if your on "?". when i hit castle age then imperial ...i won the game all i had to do was spam karambit warriors which cost nothing. my opponets used Arablasts, Handcannons, orangers,champions nothing could counter my one cheap unit. i felt bad for winning that match there is no way a 1v3 should be easy. in fact the karambit warriors could take down ENTIRE castles and shred through castles like nothing, on what historical basis are these warriors able to do that with tiny knives. how can a naval civ be best on land and water. karambit warriors are like a new type of flying unit that drop bombs on everying. THEY EVEN COUNTER THE COBRA CAR. THE NEW KARAMBIT UNIT IS CANCER!

I find they're only great in low pop matches where their half pop bonus really shines, but in higher pops their militia line having no gold cost ends up being better.

I say Cataphracts, I got hit hard as Malay against the Byzantines, it was my first game as the Malay, but I was running over everyone until I got to them damn Byzantines.

Goths (at least after the imperial unique tech)? Make a bunch of barracks, spam halbs and champs, bring down the castles with some huskarls tanking, and no more karambits.

@OP - I agree with what you said up until the last sentence. Anyone that has had any experience with actual cancer knows that it has no place in that context. This is a meme that needs to just die. The sooner the better.
