Userpatch not working?
I have a disc copy of AoE 2 (with conquerors) and it worked fine on my old computers but now it doesnt work in windows 10. I tried userpatch but it just gave me an error that in the troubleshooting section just said to get a legit installation. Any help?
EDIT: The reason userpatch isnt working is because the exe is called EMPIRES2.exe instead of Age2_x1.exe which is apparently for Age of Kings.

Did you install the 1.0c patch ? It is required before installing UP.

It gives an error saying I need to install a retail copy, which is what I did. Apparently I have an Age of Kings copy.
