Wild horses. What are they usefull for

I play in a map where i see wild horses. what can they do. i can´t take them for food

Kill them.
In all seriousness , unless it's the campaign(in that case the read the objectives/hints) they are there for the show.

I think you can convert them, and scout an opponents base if he doesn't have a tower that will auto fire on the horse. I had games where my opponents didn't know that the horse was mine and just left it at his wood line for the entire game :D
