Is there a mod for more than 8 players in one map ?

Haven't encountered such a mod, and i belive due to engine limitations, it can't be modded either.

as a modder i can confirm that it's not possible to do this with a data mod. And the exe would need a massive overhaul, as much of the data is in the form of Player1, Player2, ...Player8.
