Should I create a Public Dayz Teamspeak?

Well I would buy a 100 person server Teamspeak service ( whatever the highest pop cap is) for new or vetren players, seeking for groups to play with. Would be very simple to log onto the public teamspeak server and find other players to group up with, or existing ones. I would let ppl create their own channels and be channel commanders in the public teamspeak for free. If this is a good idea just say something in this discussion.

lol well I used to be looking for a group, and i found a great one. This would help the public log on to the teamspeak and find new friends there or existing friends. Sometimes looking for a new group is hard to find. Wouldnt care either if ppl wanted to play different games beside dayz. It's all about meeting new ppl and having fun!

Dont waste your time or money.

All good deeds get punished some way or another.................you will get stupid ppl taking advantage of your kindness, non stop drama

If you want friends dont buy them with bribes and promises of free anything, establish a friendship based on mutaul respect or common intrests not cuz your willing to give them something for gree

Those arent the kind of ppl you want as friends anyway.

Check out a few groups in this section, join THEIR TS and get to know them and them you.............if you make friends great if not, no harm no foul move on instead of letting 99 random ppl walk all over you and try to police the entire group.

Dies fourth- I agree with you, but I'm not looking to win ppl over with my money. I want to help new players or expierenced players to come together and play together. I'm not going to butt in and join groups. there is a lot of new players out there who don't really know how to find a trusting group. Hopefully this new teamspeak will help out!

I don't think I'm wasting my money at all!! If this fails epicly, it's because I didn't put time or effort into making it succeed at all! I will add you and we can play of course!

Your mind is made up. Thats fine, you seem to be an adut capable of making your own decisions : )

Dont put to much work or time into it please, yes there are good people out here, theres also bad disrespectful people who will take advantage of any kindness afforded them.

If i might make some sudgestions as ive had extensive experiance in this area from years of hosting.

Define and publish a clear set of zero tolerance rules.

If all channels are public ppl will troll every single room blarring music or non stop dribble only for their selfish amusement.

Make the lobby public or a few rooms. P/W most rooms or at least restrict access to brand new people so the trolls cant run amuck anywhere they want.

Be careful who you grant admin rights to. Ppl can get wierd or have bad days n ban all others for no good reason.

Before i go all out do you have experiance in this sort of thing ? I assume from you good natured gesture you dont but i may be wrong lol

I will rule the TS with a iron FIST. lol jk There will be trolls who will come in and be jerks. Thats human nature, can't stop someone from breathing if I said no breathing allowed. Well of course there will be ground rules displayed in the teamspeak, and those who disregard the rules will be warned, If they can't be reasoned with and disrupting other players from having a good time or meeting new players, they will be dealt with in a appropriate way.

I won't have a solution for every problem that is thrown my way, but I will work for a solution.

I'm sure it can work of course but I would recommend you not make it an open server. If create one and Put in ppl have played with or seem like you can trust. Then create admins and just monitor. BC the community itself is pretty toxic. That is jut how DayZ is. Thanks for the add we will play soon !!
