The most noticeable mod I can tell on both is simply having a map when you press M.
I've been around since day 1 on DayZSA, seen it all. While I am not one to rain on anyone's preference, I have found over the years that Traders basically remove any DayZ survival aspect of the game, and usually servers with them are set up for uber grinds to keep folks playing/population as well as lean heavily for subscription/donator perks.
I don't mind in-game map as long as a physical map/compass/gps unit is required. Also I can't stand unlimited stamina, as that just ruins any PVP IMO.
I've been playing on Virtually Vanilla mostly.
Vanilla means, no BS trader, no BS map, no BS nameTags.
In my terms, a couple of extra clotching allowed. Anythingother than that, it is not vanilla
Yeah, no adrelnaline, the threat that you lost everything. I agree. Everyone who needs traders, go play tarkov.
so for now i've learned the best vanilla type servers are:
Basically Vanilla
The Northmen
