First of all, i am just a supporter for this server on Deer Island. But in many years of DayZ (over 6000 hours played) this is one of the most unique servers i came across. The server owner puts lots of work in modding this server. The server is balanced as hardcore survival server. Noone will shoot you, its all PVE. But dont think its easy. its far from that. You will have to fight agains thirst and hunger, this server gives nothing for free. You have to work for it. This server has a unique crafting system implemented and you can search for food in the wilderness, rather then finding a can of food. You can craft cars from car parts you collect from wrecks, part by part, if you have the tools. So find the tools first. This server has missions for you. It has toxic zones (gas and ragdiation). It has a unique weather system. All this makes the server a top class hardcore survial server. There are wandering traders on the map, but they are expensive. So first you have to kill some monsters, sell gold, pelts or meat. Btw. since this server is on Deer Island map, we have Dinosours :)

changes 2022/06/12:
- All water wells can now have salmonella contaminated water - there is 30% chance to have clean water and obviously 70% chance to have contaminated water Condition of water is chosen at first well use during server run and it stays the same for the whole server run. You can either risk and then treat infection or purify water. All freshies spawn with bottle of water and purifying tablets now;
- Iodine tincture can be used to purify water (as in rl);
- kettle can be used to purify a cup of water - the same way you make herbal tea but without adding herb;
- ATVs can be locked (finally) - you make a key the same way as with other vehicles and then you will get option to lock vehicle when looking at atv. But keep in ming that atv unlocks automatically when engine is started and to prevent it please remove spark plug before locking it otherwise treat it as unlocked;
- rented cars will be spawning with 10% fuel, cannot be refuelled and the engine will get destroyed after reaching 1% of fuel. They also can't be locked anymore. They are supposed to be only used to test car before buying, not to be driven forever as some of them are ;
- fox ammo 7.62x25 (tokarev rounds) will be stacking with correct amount (130);
- rose and elder bushes can now be "mined" for wood, I switched it off to enable searching for berries on them as before 1.17 there was no scrolling between actions and only one would work;

Server updated to 1.18 and surprisingly working. We dont wipe. Dayz-dog mod was disabled as it wouldn't run with it, We will add it back when it is updated to 1.18

Change on server rules:

1. IT IS ONLY A GAME, and by all standard it is far from perfection. You will encounter issues that are built in and may result in vehicle crashes, being stuck in rock or ending up dead by some glitch. If any of these happens there is very LOW CHANCE to get admin help as admin is busy IRL. It is a hard core survival server so don't expect to be held by hand while exploring, or to be teleported to your body. Use IMAGINATION instead. Something fell through the snow in Arctic? Imagine it fell into crevice in rocks. Car ended up in the lake after lag episode? Imagine you fell asleep at the wheel and drove it there. Car despawned (very unlikely)? Imagine it got stolen. This kind of thinking will make dealing with issues much easier for you.
2. LANGUAGE - official server and Discord language is English. Do not assume we all know Russian, Polish, German, French or any other language. People breaking rules and saying later 'no English' will be banned permanently.
3. HACKING, glitching, exploits or any other cheats giving unfair advantage are strictly prohibited and result in permanent ban without warning.
4. All players with NAME Survivor should change it ASAP. In case of any issues it is very hard to find anything in files if there are few players with the same name. All SURVIVORS will be warned / kicked to remember / banned if ignored. If you don't know how to change your in-game name type 'how to change name in dayz' on YouTube.
5. This is PVE only server and killing other players on sight (KOS) is strictly prohibited and results in permanent ban without a warning. The only time killing on sight is allowed is when the victim is marked as WANTED by bank for not repaying loan.

6. If anybody comes to your BASE uninvited and THREATENS you, you are allowed to kill him. Report that issue in chat and on Discord and admin will investigate. Same applies to situation when somebody shoots at you or attacks with melee weapon - you are ALLOWED to kill AFTER receiving damage and admin will investigate.
7. BASE RAIDING and STEALING from other players is strictly prohibited and resulting in warning / ban.
8. VEHICLES should be locked (keys available at vehicle trader) to keep them secured. Vanilla cars and ATVs that are not secured CAN be taken even if they have something in their storage. All other vehicles were clearly bought by someone and CANNOT be taken. Any vehicles parked near any trader are exception to above rule and CANNOT be taken. Limit of TWO vehicles per base + extra one for every additional member (group of two can have 3 vehicles). Too many vehicles causes LAG. In the unlikely event of car despawning please contact admin on discord but please remember that only cars that were secured will be refunded. Rented cars are designed to respawn after 10 minutes of inactivity, in case they don't despawn they can be deleted with all contents by admins at any time without a warning.
9. BASE BUILDING - there are NO BUILDING ZONES defined in server files so there's no need to check any distances. But it is strictly prohibited to block any roads or bridges and to block any buildings that spawn military loot. To build a base you need a plot pole kit available at tool trader and home mprovement store and spawning around the map. Without claiming land you can only have a tent and MSP furniture as a temporary base.
10. STORAGE - there is a limit of 15 large containers (tents included) per base + 2 additional containers per member (2 members can have 17 large containers in total (tents, barrels, sheds, hardiggs etc). Too many containers cause LAG.

11. TRADERS are an extra feature added to the game and should be used with extreme caution. Admins won't reimburse any missing dollars or items.
12. Show RESPECT to all other players at all times.
13. LOOT CYCLING is strictly prohibited and should be reported for investigation. However it doesn't make any sense on this server as ALL items that are spawning on the map are restocked AFTER FOUR HOURS.
14. DISCORD - please RESPECT other players, any abuse will result in permanent ban from server and discord.
15. IN-GAME HELP is only available when admin is online. You can ask on discord if admin is available when not in game but there is minimal chance that admin will be able to jump in to help. Also if you die keep in mind admin WON'T teleport you back to your body. If for some reason your car despawns (very unlikely) it MAY be refunded but it will take at least few hours to process any claims.
16. Most important rule - have fun and always remember - IT IS ONLY A GAME.

Deer Isle update 19.06.2022

Added features:
- Vanilla chicken coops can now be searched for eggs, since there is only few on the whole map there is a good chance to find an egg, a bit less chance to find 2 eggs and a small chance to find something else there Eggs can be cooked in normal way or eaten raw, they can even be cooked on a stick (not my idea, it is part of Farming Plus 2.0), they have another use described below;
- Car radiators (damaged and badly damaged) can finally be repaired using RL survival trick - with an egg But same as in RL radiator has to be attached to vehicle and filled with water first, otherwise egg won't give you an option to fix radiator (egg has to be in hands and pointing at radiator will give an option to repair it);
- Turning any radio on will show list of players currently in game, list disappears after 5 seconds. To check it again later switch radio off and back on;

Other changes:
- fixed issue with autorun keybinding, look for WR Autorun category and there is a toggle autorun option there, by default is should always be keypad+ if unchanged;
- fixed water purifying with chlorine tablets and iodine tincture - original recipe for water purification was disabled and 2 new recipes were rewritten from scratch, instead of only removing agents from a vessel (as in the old one) the vessel gets deleted and exactly the same type of vessel is spawned on the ground and agents removed then just in case. Because vessel gets deleted it doesn't work for barrels anymore as their contents would get deleted too. Keep in mind that all vessels found on the map have 50% of cholera agent attached while wells have 70% chance of salmonella. Cholera can be treated with antibiotics and salmonella with charcoal (either tabs or crafted one);
- pan with holes gets 20% less damage while mining gold (per one try), what gives 5 extra tries;

Known issues:
- searching garbage bins and piles doesn't work anymore due to bohemia's new way of processing static objects, will be back when I have a solution;
- salvaging and draining fuel from some wrecks (p.e. red skoda 120 and ural truck) is impossible (due to the same issue as above), will be fixed when any solution is there;
- new items introduced in 1.18 and some items from LoftDModGR Clothes Pack are still not spawning and not available at trader due to busy RL;

Also , finally added all new 1.18 items and all missing loftd clothes to loot table, they will be added to trader later today / tonight.

Server update 25.06.2022

Added mod:
- Dayz-Dog added back as it was fixed, it has new very experimental feature (dog inventory), please don't store any highly valued items like nvgs there as it is in experimental stage;

Other changes:
- fixed stacking of gold nuggets (small in 5s, medium in 3s);
- added all new 1.18 items to loot table and trader;
- added all new Loftd clothing items to loot table and trader;
- removed banners about discord bonus and custom clothes from community areas - this is officially the end of 10k discord bonus, all custom clothes are not in stock at trader anymore and they will be removed from trader completely, they will only be available for delivery;
- ammo can finally be bought at black market,
- all ammo at weapons trader restocked
