How do I get my crosshair to move up/down?

Currently I can look up and down, but my crosshair isn't moving along with that, nor are my fists seeming to move from a central position. Is this how the game works? I can't tell if there's some function that I'm missing in order to properly aim.

Anybody able to help/clarify?

Try double tapping your head movement key and see if that works.

Check out your key assignemets to find out which key is for free look, sounds like you are stuck in freelook mode.

Press Alt twice (default config) to enable/disable freelook.

I think that might have worked, I'm not sure. Now my crosshair moves up and down but my arms don't when I'm in a fighting stance.

edit: Hang on, no. The crosshair is still stuck in a central position but pops to my viewpoint whenever I move.

I'm not entirely sure what you're describing. I would try exiting/re-running the game and resetting all your controls to default.

Maybe troubleshoot your keyboard as well and make sure you're not having any sticky key related issues.

I've worked it out. I had no key bindings set to aiming up and down, and was going into the freelook when I thought I was going out of it.

Embarrassingly stupid, really.
