Imagine a massive EMP going off big enough to take out all electronics in a city then followed by a dirty bomb with a virus in it that infected the majority of the city and turned them into midless rabid dogs. Sounds like fun eh? The chance of this is highly unlikly but still it is possible already or will be soon. Not to mention all the nukes that would get launched after such an attack on a country.

Doesnt matter really I guess, Mother Earth is over due to shake all the fleas off anyway

yeah cause after an EMP and a virus everyone would just starting launching nukes. Seems legit. hahahaa

We'll I may be having to much fun with this idea ;) hehe. Although it would actualy prolly be smart to destroy the infected area with a nuke before the virus spread.

not really, you're generalizing. I think that a lot of gamers have experience to handle situations like this because of games like DayZ or Fallout etc.. or survival sim like games. It's kinda like Driving sim games that do actually work well with improving coordination while driving reaction times etc.. I think some gamers would actually adapt well to a enviroment like this "some" not all of us.

well, sure if that gamer is actually in shape and can handle themselves in a physical fight or a truely in your face stressfull have to survive situtation. Would also help if they have taken the time to do some actual hunting and many other outdoor activities for real survival exp. Id say maybe 30% of gamers might be able to do it. Ruff guess, Im just saying that my best estimate.

Its crazy really, we could even take the zombie factor out of it, and say there was just a huge solar flare that knocked out 2/3rds of the worlds electronic devices and infrastructures and you had humans fighting and scrambling for what resources were left and to reinstate law and order. It would be alot like Dayz, in the since that you are more worried about running into a bandit or corrupt cop than a zombie. (point being, I think we(humans) would be the main problem no matter what caused that sort of situtation on this planet or any other for that matter)

I would be issued a rifle and be told to sit and wait for orders to purge all of the civilian centers (ie cities and towns) to help stop the spread of what everyone thinks is an illness. After that Id probably stay with my unit and eventually realise that nothing is the same, and we should all go rouge and keep civilians as slaves and live like bandits.

I would find a young woman, a middle aged bald man and a black guy with a really deep voice. Then, together, we would move through the most heavily zombie populated areas, avoiding any large easily defensible areas, in search of first aid kits.
