I dunno, I don't actually mind people using TS, but I think its cheating (again, for the love of god, in my opinion LOL)
not if its built into the game
With that being said, I just use the Steam voice chat system, by inviting my friends into a private chat, then activating voice.
I must admit though, if there -were- a way to force people to use the in-game direct voice systen, with the 80m~ range, it would increase the immersion factor, and all together make communication more interesting and dynamic.
I don't think you know what the word "cheat" mean, even when you try to sound as stupid as you can.
Its a shame more people don't use it. Ive only ever once come across players chatting in game, and Im pretty sneaky
part of the reason the ingame chat works as it does is so that you can hear people talking and that it may give away their position or allow you to avoid a group that hasn't seen you yet.
Pluse Steam allows you to voice chat directly with your peeps. I play it the way its ment to be played.
