How to zoom in with long range scope?

Hi guys, really enjoying the game so far, managed to find myself a moisin nagant (or whatever it's called, the rifle) and attached a LRS to it. Can't for the life of me figure out how to use the optics though.

I did rebind Alt to change perspective (previously enter) not sure if that is it or not.

So what do I press to look through the scope? Thanks in advance.

Default is, I believe, right click. Once you are looking through the scope press '+' or '-' to adjust the zoom.
Changing perspective only toggles between first and third person camera view.

Hmm, I tried right clicking and it acts as if there is no scope attached, I'll see if the + and - buttons work next time I'm playing, cheers pal.

Edit: Also is there an auto run key? Cheers.

you right click once to look down sight.. then press and hold right mouse button to zoom.. when you release it backs out of zoom. its kind of like holding your breath

Yes, this is true but holding right click will also cause you to lose your breath. If you manually adjust with '+' or '-' you won't lose breath at all.

Nope, no auto run sorry. I use a small weight on the 'W' key. :)

As to your scope issue, that's pretty weird. Are you sure you attached it? I've never had any issues.

It's definitely there, and in 'worn' condition. I will try your suggestions later this evening when I'm back online thanks for the help!

Unfortunately I was shot on sight whilst looking at my inventory. Rather annoying as I had spent 3 hours running around acquiring gear but the guy that shot me was also shot by someone else. haha

I think im going to wait until the add cars before I play again...

Sorry to hear about your luck. I have also decided to wait for more content to be added before I start playing again. As it stands right now there isn't a whole lot to do once you have geared up.
