Too scared to play now
I have heaps of food, water, medical supplies, a rifle and 2 pistols and now I'm too scared to play in case I lose it lol because it took me about 10 lives or so before I managed to even get a working gun.

Remember that when you die, you don't lose the experience and knowledge you gained.

I play to survive for as long as possible, but when you've got a nice set of gear, you have to balance your survival with calculated risks. If you're too reckless, your wont survive for long, but if you don't take any chances, you'll soon be stuck hiding in the forrest, driving yourself crazy.

While getting killed is almost upsetting, starting all over without much to lose can feel liberating.

Yeah im in the same boat now i finnally found a mosin and have about 40 ammo for it (searching all day 8hours) now the scary part is going to airfield/army base to find a long range scope and i dunno if i want to risk my Rifle lol.

But you will die my friend, is the circle of dayz, you can run and hide and get as far north as possible in the desolate forests north of the airfield, but you will die sooner or later, either by an underestimated zombie hit, a lucky player or a bug, you will die.

i wouldnt be afriad of the game content, rather the game bugs. i just lost two full ammo boxes, two medkits, a defib, pain killer a m4 2 pistols etc, all because i joined the wrong ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ server. DAL 3-249 hosted by Vilayer wipes your save when you join. becareful

i think server hopping will be the downfall of the loot :p

DayZ is all about dieing, without dieing you will never get better at the game. I've lost full Military gear several times, and each time i get more and more tolerant to death, and i learn more and more of what and what not to do.

there will always be a next owner for your gun dont get crazy over it its just a item and you respawn without a penalty besides to get food and water again and have to walk.
if you dont want to die dont play games with guns in it . or any weapon. its just me that never dies !!! lol JK. dont ask howmany graves i filled lol . cant count em anymore.

anybody want to team up?
Reki Jan 1, 2014 @ 3:05am
you're playing the wrong game friend.. I hate to say it. In Day Z you will die, the average life expectancy is like 1 hour or something. The thing you're supposed to enjoy is working back up to a full kit. go have some fun.
