Got rid of sick status, vision still blurry?

So I have been playing for a few days and ran into my first bandit last night. He nearly killed me before I took cover and told him I'm friendly. I bandaged up, he cuffed me, took some stuff but did give me a blood bag and saline. However I have no clue what his blood type was and I am O+.

Anyways, saline helped boost my blood back up but my vision was blurry. I ran just a ways away and waited for him to leave. I drank and ate all I could, took some tetracycline. Then today I logged into random servers to find more medical supplies, disinfected some rags and used one, drank an injection bottle (don't know if that was wise), ate some more food and drank more water. So now the SICK status is gone but my vision is still blurry, is this a bug or will it slowly go away as my guy heals?

I'm also wondering what do blood bags do? I know saline pretty much boosts your health/blood back up so vision is colour again but blood bags don't seem to do anything at all.

blood bags actualy have to be filled before they can be used, you have to use and iv start kit and have a friend take blood from you, that you then store until later.. when you lose alot of blood you can have a friend then give you the blood transfusion instantly giving you back the blood you lost regardless of current symptoms. I beleave saline does the exact same thing as it's used in real life to increase blood pressure when people lose alot of blood, however I think it's also used to help fight infections and possably other uses..

The blood bag was full when it was used on me... it did absolutely nothing.

It might not have worked cause the blood was a different type. It should have if you were low but if you were max it effects nothing O should be a universal acceptor and donor of blood. Just like AB is a universal acceptor. But you have a certain blood level just like in the mod out of say like 1,000. Taking an m4 bullet takes like 400-500 away with one shot and then you bleed. So a blood bag increases the blood you have to 1,000 again so you are healthy. Thats why being alone in dayz is hard to do unless you are a hunter and eating animals is another way to get back to max health. I knew plenty of snipers that had a tent with like 4 sniper rifles tons of food and medical stuff in case they needed it if they died and just camped around like electro and cherno to kill and loot people
