City/town names?

So I found a map, and i'm trying to figure out just where exactly I am in the game world so I can get to the bigger cities to hopefully get ammo/better equipment. Been trying to find names for the local towns so I can have a point of reference but I am unable to find any, unless I am being stupid. I don't want to google a map or anything like that, I feel it ruins the fun.

Also, 6 hours of playing, been through tons of towns/villages, only found 2 rifles, both in the same village, both no ammo.

nearly every town got signs to their entrance, written in kyrillic.

current is the respawn slowed or stopped and only reset brings new stuff if one wanders say 5 minits befor you the the ammo backpack weapon route you may get only his leftovers, that happend me some times too. switch server.
