My screen is constantly black and white

Hi, I had problems to get water. The canteen-ponds-option didn't worked at first. Now it's okay and I've eaten and drunk enough. I've lost no blood, but my hud is all black and white and it won't go away. What can I do?

Black and white means lack of blood. So you lost blood at some point. Just die and respawn if you want color again.

Yeah dying is always a perfect solution to all problems...

Get a friend to give you a blood transfusion, blood slowly regenerates when you have neither hunger nor thirst but the only way to get back to 100% is a blood transfusion.

@snowboard340 Well ... I had no 'bleeding-info' and I didn't fight against any zombies or other players. I was sneaking and hiding, so I didn't lost any blood.

Saline is better for lack of blood than a blood transfusion. Saline will completely refill your blood, but a blood bag won't. You could also eat a bunch of food and drink a bunch of water and your blood will start regenerating.

You obviously did and didnt notice there have been absolutley no reports of random gray screens, you have low blood, end of story.

I got a gray screen after passing out for eating a rotten kiwi (was starving).. so yeah, its not just blood I guess.

i am having the same issue, i have been playing for about six hours for my first time and nothing has changed, it has always been black and white.... um wow.

Eat and drink until both "energized" and "hydrated" appear in light green. Stay like this and regenerate blood. Once your blood is regenerated, you will get a "healing" status which will soon turn to "healthy", meaning you have 100% blood and 100% health. Your screen will also turn grey if you've stayed hungry and thirsty for too long. No bug here.
