Also, this: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=210987949 can help you set up the controller in Xpadder.
PS Thanks for the all of effort put into this and for sharing!
Did you do this first?
IMPORTANT:
*In Game Configuration, Delete Walk or Run Toggle "2X Shift" command to avoid Lstick shenanigans
*Make sure the controller is disabled in the Game Configuration: Configure / Controls / Devices / Disabled
If you just mean the range of the stick (currently slow walk up to 50%, normal W 51-99%, sprint 99% beyond) you can adjust that in xpadder by clicking on forward stick "Walk-Jog-Sprint" and then clicking "Advanced" in bottom right corner of keyboard assignment window. Click on 50% or 99% and adjust using the "Distance" buttons.
Sounds like maybe the controller is still registered in DayZ. *Make sure the controller is disabled in the Game Configuration: Configure / Controls / Devices / Disabled
If it's not disabled then it's stacking up inputs. It is registering what the game had set for RB plus what I had RB set for through Xpadder.

Thanks again for this great set up!
