Griefing, is what they're doing. Some people are just ♥♥♥♥♥, and always will be.
I want to enjoy the game as much as others do so i wont kill everyone on sight just for the lulz :/
There's so many more ways to interact with players now, it's just sad that bullets is the predominate one. Kinda kills emergent gameplay when everyone just diminsh the game to a free for all deathmatch. Other games have done that way better already, and they're actually not frustrating.
I think it´s just that they can´t play the game in another way :/ That´s very sad.
People can play however they like. If someone wishes to just kill fresh spawns for no reason then they absolutely can.
2. Yeah it´s an survival simulator what doesn´t mean its a free-for-all deathmatch game. Thats a difference! People who dont liek that can go back to cod and spawncamp people there -.-
3. I´m sure you want to enjoy a game (or test an alpha) as much as you can. But that isn´t really possible when the community of a game sucks (most part of it). I found a lot people too who help each other and that makes a lot fun too :3 But actually there are more people who can´t play on another way then shooting everything and griefing and that ruins the game for other players!
To me, the KOS people make everything more interesting. There's an element of fear when I meet a player. If everybody tried to negotiate, it would take out some element of tension. I like seeing a player, trying to shout "friendly?!", if they seem remotely hostile, shooting out their legs and coming up from behind. We're human, we adapt, adapt to the survival simulator and face the fact that yes people suck. IRL people suck, so these people who suck in game, would probably suck IRL too.
I understand your point, and I dont completely disagree with it. However, they "play how they want" kind of ruins it for others if they don't want to play that way. The game needs people to die, sure but other player interactions are so much fun. Personally, I dont kill unless i'm being shot at and I still try to reason. I play the man who will surrender as well just so people can use the new features and I can see if they will let me live...trying to bring out a little good in people.
I only get mad at hackers, not murderers.
