Downloading extremely slow.

I recently bought DayZ and now it is taking an extremely long time to download. eg. DLs for 10 seconds at 90Kb/s and then stops download completely for another 30 seconds, then starts again. Any ideas on how to fix this?

same as me ... but I let it be till it's done ( about 1 night ) XD
this may cause of a lot of ppl download it at once ..... ( my opinion )

I'm no expert, but I'd say it's not Day-Z's problem. There is a lot of heavy traffic at the moment with the start of the sale. Lots of people are using the content servers meaning that download speeds are slower. Try restarting your Steam and then changing your download region to something different.

What, i load it yesterday at 12 o´clock pm with full speed of my i-net connection ~ 4 MB per second

It is your internet and your speed, it is noting to do with the dayz team they only upload it to a 24/7 download recieve site so that when ever someone buy's the game they get to download it straight away but the bad thing is it depends on "your" internet speed!

I am sorry for the inconvenience! i am having the same problem.

The only way to make the download faster is if someone isn't downloading, and check their torrent programs to see if the download is seeding to other poeple if you stop that your download speed goes a bit faster!
