Just google cheats for dayz standalone and u will see that cheaters already using wallhack, item spawn , maphack.
GOD MODE and SERVER ANNIHILATION is the matter OF TIME. And where the hell is promised VAC ANTICHEAT???

Wulfie: you are right, that the client/server architecture *should* prevent hacks by design and make it effectively impossible to cheat. However, there might be design flaws, implementation errors and even backdoors/hacks used for debugging that nobody removed before shipping. After all, nobody is perfect. Not even the developers of a PC game.

My mistake only one m4a1on the road but it has all attachments two black mosins with unlimited ammo in clips (apparently mosin clips aint supposed to be in the game yet) and even more m4a1's behind the tree and loads of 60 round mags as you will see.

Like i said in another post do some research and you will find its posible and enable scripts in dayz with a little tool and a bit of editing , maybe Dean will close this little security flaw but it will only be a matter of time untill the hackers find another way. Either way enjoy your Dayz adventures.

Mosins have clips in-game. At least they did before it was released on Steam.
As for your "unlimited ammo" hacks in the stream, there were none during the first 56 minutes. And no black Mosins. Give me an exact time-stamp or your argument is void.

Its disabled for the moment, but I really do hope VAC will be enough to keep the hackers/cheaters out. Maybe they could do it the same way Rockstar did, when they catch a cheater/hacker, throw them all in together in a cheater/hacker server :P let them have their fun together :P

Yes mosins did have clips in dayz but not in stand alone, at least from all the streams i have watched i have never seen anyone with clips apart from this time, and if you think you can find a m4a1 with all attachments and more 60 round mags then you can cary behind a tree then lol.

I watched a solid 10 minutes before starting to skip a minute at a time.
There is nothing like you described in that recording. The person isn't even at a gas station, he is in the military tent area south of Balota Airfield.

The 60 round mags are actually two 30 round mags attached to each other. Hicks used the same mags during a stream by Rocket.

Edit2; The stream was done a day ago.. before the security patch. So this might be old news by now -- at least I'm somewhat sure that it is.

Yes i know the 60 round mags are in stand alone but to find that many with a m4a1 with all attachments behind a tree and two mosins black or other wise with unlimited ammo is suspect.

As for the security patch being deployed that might have fixed this hack but there will be more, hackers always find a way.

Again. Not suffering. when its a bug and been reported. Haven't seen a single hacker in the time i have played and neither has anyone i watched stream or played with personally.

DayZ is going to use VAC as its anti-cheat. VAC doesn't prevent hacking.
It flags those that are caught using hacks, and bans them after a random period of time.
(Can be an hour or a week.)
