The new running mechanism / Turbo key
Hi everyone,

Found out last night my character wasnt running as fast as i wished and noticed another player 30 minutes later running way faster. Turns out you need to bind a TURBBO button (not binded by default) in order to run the fastest way possible.

What do you people think? I still don't know what to think about this new 'feature'. Using the TURBO key probably has effect on your health/stamina which is a good and realistic thing, but after using it for a while my hand starts hurting because very often I use too many keys at the same time: W for walking, CTRL for turbo and ALT to look around. That makes 3 buttons to push/use almost by default, which is quite a lot.

What do you guys think and for me even more important: what button did you guys bind?

I think the keybinding is just messed up in general.

goes back to the arma game engine, got to bind the torbo key. I think the got the game engine wrong. should be more like GTA or Saints Row

Didn't bind it to anything. Can double tap w to get the same effect.

Yep. Arma 2 had a turbo key as well. don't believe i ever bound that one either.

turbo key and the right mod. u could do some fun things flip some one off or do tacticle moves

You can also hold JUST the Turbo key.
You will automatically move straight forward.

controll settings need rework.. incule too many useless key binds
we need basic keys WSAD , C , X , Y/Z , SHIFT , CTRL

There is "Fast Forward" which is 2xW

and then there is TURBO


Two different speeds?

So what's the difference betwen Fast Forward and Turbo?

ITS THE SAME KEY.. THIS IS SETTINGS FROM ARMA 2.. NEEDS TO BE REWORKED.

I don't know, mabie devs have some plans for some turbo speed, I mean there is ''Throw'' option which is binded to ''G'', but we can't throw anything yet
