Are there any news of update from Dabs Framework to fix things? So many community servers are still not up due to Dabs Framework and there seems to be no word regarding any fix or anything. Has anybody heard anything when fix might be coming?

Community servers are great until you realize:

- Every server having obnoxiously bright skins on guns/clothes/vehicles
- Every server having canabis as a money maker
- Every server having infinite stamina
- Every server having "boss battles"

To wrap it up, every server breaking as soon as a hotfix/update comes out and the players act entitled because their server should obviously be working despite it being out of date

sounds terrible, but luckily this is just your poor experience of very bad server choices.

Hmm, I have 2 servers running framework - one lan and one rental - both working...

I don't play community servers at all because I highly prefer the vanilla gameplay as well as if/when servers break due to mod/game updates, although every server I've seen my friends play on fell into this category to some degree. I'm sure there's plenty of servers that are vanilla or near vanilla, but those servers are a grotesque example of what modding can breed

Some mods are truly amazing such as the "Arma 2 Helicopters Remastered" mod that adds in 14 helicopters or the "Sebbes Weapon and Equipment Pack" that adds in 5x the amount of guns the base game has, but there are mods that realistically shouldn't be allowed on the game such as mods that copy/paste models & textures from Escape from Tarkov and don't give credit to the origin

Regardless, a lot of these mods do a pretty good job proving that the developers are either incompetent or lazy since a few modders manage to provide more content and implement features that DayZ is still pulling the "coming soon" on for years. It truly does give a lot of steam to the whole notion that the DayZ developers are trying to do just enough with their updates to provide the illusion of updates when, in reality, modders are the ones actually doing the heavy lifting with the amount of content/features they add in themselves

After all, when was the last time that an actually complex new feature was added to DayZ [Ex. helicopters] and not just adding in new clothing/guns/sounds since all it takes is a glance at the "added" section of the last few patches and you'll see that all it is is new clothing/weaponry/sounds

On that note - dayz 2024 is a depressing read - apparently more 'cosmetic clothing' and another 'new' gun... *sigh

To say every server has what you mentioned is a false statement. Majority maybe but not all.
