Avast Problems

Hello guys Today i tried to Start up Dayz when i did Suddenly Avast said Dayz.exe or something like that was a virus and it instanly closed it since then i try to open it and it wont open Avast doesnt show anything anymore i tried restarting steam and my pc still nothing any Sullotion?

Whitelist the DayZ/BattlEye launcher in your Avast settings.

You might have put some file in quarantine.
But tbh I thought the false positives where gone by now.
I never got any warning on my Avast with the latest BE updates so kinda hard to say.

I have no idea what to add. I found the spot in avast settings to add it though.

Hello there

Youll probably need to add the main executeables to the whitelist.

That said, I also use Avast! and have not encountered any such issues.

Ensure you are up to date AV wise, do a full scan and also a Malawarebytes scan.

Avast! *has* been a bit extreme with its actions recently, especially with firefox extensions, but again I have had none of these issues.

Double check to ensure its not a false positive.
