Whats a better weapon Mosin, SKS or CR527 Carbine.

Just wonder what would work best against anyone but if you could answer what would work best against a geared up player?

Lets say far distances and I spot the guy and he is geared up would the sks still work or would the mosin be better.

It simply depends on what range.

At an extreme range at around 800M+ the Mosin would be better than the SKS in my opinion. It's made purposely for Ranged Sniping.

for that reason alone is why I went mosin, it has the long range capability as the other do not, ya you might be outgunned in a CQB sks vs mosin but from my experience it mostly comes down to the player as I have taken out heavily armed dudes with my 1911/.357 and most recently I have been parading around with the deringer, got 5 kills before I met my death with the deringer including two m4 armed guys one which i kept the m4 the other the admin reset the server cause he realized he got owned with a deringer lol, my next goal is the pink deringer, how degrading would that be lol

I've never actually used the CR527 in game due to it's calliber. The problem is with that weapon is that it simply does not have the range, and it's a .22 caliber, which means that it would take quite a few shot's to the head to drop someone. I would think 1 - 3 shots would kill the subject. However, it is, in my opinion, unlikely that you will land an 800M+ shot with a CR527 in the 1st place. As far as I am aware, it has no optional attachment's in regards to scope.

As I said above though, the Mosin is custom made for long range sniping.

They see a geared guy that they are unprepared for and their fear pheremones set in, and they all start panicking.

I hate to say it, but 9/10 times, if they kept a cool head, didn't panic and prepared for most day to day situations, it would probably be a very different story.

battle tested, mother approved. I describe myself in TS when it comes to guns fights as the herion addict that just hasn't OD'd lol, meaning it takes alot to get my heart rate going, calm cool and collected usually prevails

looks very similiar to the cr527, I love the repeater but I was playing a game called trading up the other day where I hunt down akm/m4 players with what they would consider an obsolete weapon, did everything right, reeled them in, just the Gdamn cocking action is to slow. If anyone remembers the rifleman back in the day, connors could throw bullets down range faster then you could say rifleman

try a pump shotgun for range. its prity good and ammo is easy to find.

grocery stores are good for magnum ammo or the red broken down cars on the roof
