ak74 vs ak74u

They both use the same ammo type and mags, but only the ak74u is a hammer of facecake that you can hide in your vest or backpack.

I know that the ak74 shoots better at longer ranges, but as of now i hardly engage other players unless its needed.

So as a player that goes for the survival aspect of it,what is the better the choice? (Only PvP if i cant run away)

i like the aksu more, cause it fits in the backpack. u can carry a mosin with you too for long ranges ;)

On that point i agree,but i dont use a big backpack (talon mostyl) due to wanting to travel light. So whatever i pick needs to be my primary slot weapon:)

AK74U since u can store it and carry another weapon for dealing with zombies in a fun yet quieter way like a bow, xbow or sporter.

Being able to paint the entire gun is a good thing too and even if u carry outside a pack/vest it doesn't get noticed as much either being smaller.

Down side is no scope or handguard changes, but that doesn't bother me...
