Dayz "Black Friday" sale
This is absurd. This is barbaric. This is the most low, moronic and pathetic act of marketing I have ever seen on Steam. Even more so than "Air Control"

Dayz retailed for 29.99 USD, without a price drop, for almost a year. I even contemplated buying it, despite its obvious "early access" drawback. Sure enough, my suspicion was right, considering the game is seldom updated and is overpriced. But hey, its on sale now! Right?

Oh wait, it's on sale for $29.74! WOW! What a sale! That's a whole quarter off! WOW! I can definitely afford that! Screw those "new" games that are getting 13+ dollars off! Who the hell needs Alien Isolation or Shadow of Mordor when I can get this indie survival title that is completely inferior to the Arma 2 Dayz MOD!

Oh wait, the "new" price is $34.99! Wow! That is a much better deal! Wait... Why would the price SUDDENLY rise BEFORE a sale? What? Has the internet become Mexico/K-mart?
Wow! It's a deal because it's a quarter off the original price that is less than the "sale price"!

WOW! Your generosity is astounding! I hope your greed makes you to choke on that quarter.

Thank you for proper format and paragraphs.
As for your content, yes it's pointless but at least it didn't go up without a warning.
Think of it as a last chance.

I'm surprised at how mad people get over the most insignificant things.

1 update a month.. 2-3 updates on experimental a month.. is seldom updates?

Smell that people?? Smells like a crying TROLL

In otherwords, your just pissed that it wasn't on sale for -80% because you know, as well as I do, that if it was you'd have your hand in your wallet fishing for your credit card as we speak.

Mods, can we get a sale QQ sticky or at least a thread to merge em into, like the one linked earlier by Orlok?

Fairly decent example of why alpha games should be by invite only.

Well actually, I don't even know if I would. I have the Dayz Mod... And it is superior in almost every way. Not to mention that my friends who own Dayz always try to stop me from buying it... But I suppose some people are content with acts such as this.. Shamefully detrimental to the game industry, I say.

I should point out that you've claimed "Dayz retailed for 29.99 USD" which infact that was the early access price a year ago, so everyone that bought it got the product at half price. I honestly see no problem in that.

Right now, in Russia, sale price is even bigger, than before without it.
Shame on you.
I planned to buy this game for good deal. 50% or something.
Right now i make my decision. I will buy this game only for $5 and nothing more.

2018 summer sale has your wallet in mind :)
Serious question though, why would you think it would hit 50% before it's released?

That's why I know you would buy it if it was on sale for 80% off. Make the De'vs look like they're criminals, try to name and shame them.

It's exactly the same arguement that people use when they try to call the dev's incompetant in the hope that doing so will speed up development.

That's how I know you would buy the game if it was on sale for 80% off.

Exactly, i mean... they added 0 new types of enemies and fixed 0.2 of the existing enemies. If they continue updating the game like this, there'll be 1 finished type of enemy in only ~1-2 years! They also added a half-finshed truck recently! Slow progress? Nah!

You mean they intend to charge 60 USD for this game?! What?! How can anyone get away with that? In its current state, it isn't worth 30 USD! What? Are they going to add a 30 hour campaign and customizable weapons and jets? What? Is dayz now going to be GTA?
