http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Script_kiddie
In coding culture a script kiddie or skiddie[1] (also known as skid, script bunny,[2] script kitty)[3] is an unskilled individual who uses scripts or programs developed by others to attack computer systems and networks, and deface websites. It is generally assumed that script kiddies are juveniles who lack the ability to write sophisticated coding programs or exploits on their own, and that their objective is to try to impress their friends or gain credit in computer-enthusiast communities.[4] The term is typically intended as an insult.
Before I close this I shall briefly explain what it means to us.
The "Engine" that the precursor to DAYZ ran on was deliberately built to allow users to "script" in changes to the game, be it weapon resting, new medic procedures to entire total conversions.
With DAYZ (especially in the mod) this meant that it was relatively simple for folk to script "hacks" ie menus that gave you access to all sorts of lovelies, raining cows etc etc.
The SA is stripping out/changing much of that functionality so it cannot be abused.
99.99999999 percent of cheaters in any game are not hackers, they are just folk who are running a script or software written by the actual hacker.
Nowadays most hacks are written purely for financial profit and not to show up "holes" in code or a sign of the creators prowess.
The day of the "cool" hacker is long gone.
