Haven't given it a go yet as I'm still challanging myself to snare a rabbit. Which I haven't seen one in months...

they need worms and need to be on the coastal waterline/ salt water if they had some salted lakes, they give you sardines which you prepare with a knife and can get up to 4 fish fillets, so they are better than fishing. and on a side note the snares will work you just have a chance of catching one or having an empty more worn snare each time its tripped.

You need a spade to dig worms. Also you need an ashwood stick and a rope, together with the hook. You then attach the hook to the rope and both to the ashwood stick. The worms onto the hook and you can go fishing. It works like a charm, the ONLY bad thing about it is that you can use the rope only once. To fish more ( actually, to fill your stomache ) you need many ropes as every fish gives out 1 fillet which is not a real lot of meat. But its fun. Ah, to cut out the fillet, you need a cutting tool as well.

The rabbit snare is great - I use it regularly ( if I find metal wire ) and it works good. Just don't use a pan or pot to cook your meal, it burns instantly. Better to grill the meat over an open fire.

Greetings, Biggi
